1. I highly recommend Master Sergeant <FNAME> <LNAME> for selection as First
Sergeant. Selecting MSgt <LNAME> to fill this position will allow the Air Force
to reap extraordinary benefits because of her professionalism, ability to
influence and mold younger Airman.
2. In my 22 years of service I have never met a more diligent Airman and
Noncommissioned Officer. She represents the epitome of the Air Force Core
values. Master Sergeant <LNAME> will make an outstanding First Sergeant and is
the ideal person to mold our young Airman in an ever evolving Air Force. I have
personally worked with MSgt <LNAME> for almost 3 years and I have personally
witnessed her undying commitment to doing the right thing and to taking care of
her subordinates. In fact, her dedication, demeanor and personal actions so
impressed me, I personally fought to get her as the <UNIT/SQU/GRP/WING> Branch Superintendent; even before she was promoted to Master
Sergeant. Moreover, I've seen her excel in positions that most people would
recoil from and not handle as smoothly as she has performed. At all times, MSgt
<LNAME> maintained a level-head and ensured that the best possible approaches
were taken to solve each issue and concern.
3. MSgt <FNAME> <LNAME> is a very calm, respectful, kind-hearted individual that handles
pressure better then most SMSgts or CMSgts with whom I have worked with in my
career. She is very comfortable working with seniors and shows the same type of
respect to the lowest Airman. She is able to enforce the highest standards among
her subordinates with a unique blend of example, counseling, training and
consistent leadership. Her dedication and ability to complete any mission is
unsurpassed. Yet her greatest attribute is her undying dedication to her
subordinates.
4. I cannot over emphasize what a huge mistake it would be not to select this
extremely dedicated Noncommissioned Officer as a First Sergeant. She is well
suited for the job and will provide the Air Force with the type of leadership
and mentorship needed for future Airmen.
