MEMORANDUM FOR ### CF/CC

FROM: ### CF/SCBN

SUBJECT: Letter of Appreciation – TSgt Last - EPR Class

1. On behalf of the ###th Communication Flight I would like to commend TSgt First Last for
the outstanding Enlisted Performance Review (EPR) presentation he provided to our Computer
Operators (3CO’s) on Sunday, May 4, 2003.

2. TSgt Last volunteered to provide a presentation on how to properly write/read an Enlisted
Performance Review. He demonstrated a strong functional knowledge of the subject matter and
conveyed the information in an easily understandable fashion.

3. He broke down the EPR into its components, and covered each one in detail. Two points-of-
view were provided: how to write an EPR and how to receive and understand one. The
importance and relevance of the EPR to an airman’s future career progression was emphasized.

4. TSgt Last used a wide variety of training methods, including Power Point presentations and
handouts. He was especially skilled in encouraging audience participation and displayed a strong
personal commitment to ensure everyone understood the topic. This created a classroom
atmosphere that encouraged everyone to learn.

5. It was clear that the information TSgt Last presented was important and will help us
achieve our objectives. We appreciate the effort and investment of time he made in developing
this quality Enlisted Performance Review class.

                                                                              FIRST M. LAST, MSgt, USAF
