Decorations read like awards, and will need a narrative for justification
- DO NOT plan on making up mid-tour points
in a PCS medal

<FNAME> <MI>. <LNAME> distinguished himself by outstanding
achievement as Swing Shift Noncommissioned Officer in Charge, Power Production
Shop. while assigned to the Civil Engineer Flight. 355th Expeditionary Support
Squadron, 355th Air Expeditionary Group, Masirah Island Air Base. Oman. During
this period, Sergeant <LNAME> consistently demonstrated professional skill,
decisive leadership, and initiative as an integral part of establishing the
largest bare base in the Southwest Asia Area of Responsibility supporting
Operation ENDURING FREEDOM. Upon arrival, Sergeant <LNAME> assumed tile role of
a vital team member constructing 160 tents, seven latrine units, and seven
shower shave units along with supporting infrastructure in a record 60 hours.
Joint combat forces were bedded down within hours of arrival due to his tireless
efforts. Concurrently. he also led the initial design and construction of the
9.75-megawatt prime power plant. Under his expert leadership, crews worked
around the clock producing over 6,800 megawatt hours of electrical power while
achieving a phenomenal on-line reliability rating of 99.99 percent. Sergeant <LNAME>
also directed the installation and support of three 100-kilowatt generators
providing continuous prime power for the largest reverse Osmosis Water
Purification Unit in military history. The plant supplied over 11 million
gallons of potable water to Masirah's 3,600 personnel for vital personal hygiene
and food preparation. The distinctive accomplishments of Sergeant <LNAME>
reflect credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.
