Decorations read like awards, and will need a narrative for justification
- DO NOT plan on making up mid-tour points
in a PCS medal
- Ask for HELP, the only person looking out for #1

service as Uninterruptible Power Systems Maintenance Technician, 72lst Civil
Engineer Squadron, 721st Support Group. Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station,
Colorado. During this period, Sergeant <LNAME>'s outstanding expertise and
leadership aided immeasurably in the completion of 3,000 maintenance actions on
17 uninterruptible power systems worth $25 million. He ensured a 100 percent
power equipment reliability rate, exceeding Air Force Space Command's stringent
requirements. His efforts prevented countless electrical anomalies from causing
downtime for Cheyenne Mountain's critical mission centers. Demonstrating
meticulous attention to detail, he conducted an electrical survey in 21 work
centers and catalogued over 3,400 pieces of equipment supported by
uninterruptible power for the Cheyenne Mountain Load Shed Plan. His dedication
to the mission was pivotal in his work center. receiving six monthly awards for
outstanding mission accomplishment from squadron to wing level. Furthermore, in
recognition of his outstanding professional abilities, he was singled out as the
2lst Space Wing's "Noncommissioned Officer of the Year' for 2000 and the 14th
Air Force's "Noncommissioned Officer of the 3rd Quarter'. for 2000. The
distinctive accomplishments of Sergeant <LNAME> reflect credit upon himself and
the United States Air Force.
