- Achievement
Decorations read like awards, and will need a narrative for justification
- DO NOT plan on making up mid-tour points
in a PCS medal
- Ask for HELP, the only person looking out for #1
is you
- The only person looking out for your Airman is YOU!

<FNAME> <MI>. <LNAME> distinguished himself by outstanding achievement as an
Uninterruptible Power Systems Maintenance Technician, 721st Civil Engineer
Squadron. 721st Support Group. Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station. Colorado.
During this period, his exceptional electrical technical skills were invaluable
to the massive self-help installation of a $300,000 computer monitoring system
for Cheyenne Mountain's uninterruptible power system's battery bank, He
personally devoted over 300 labor intensive man-hours to precisely remove,
fabricate and install over 50 miles of power cable and fiber optic wire.
Sergeant <LNAME>'s efforts saved an estimated $115.000 in contract costs. As a
result of his engineering efforts, 3,500 battery cells are now continuously
monitored for failures or degradations. In addition, 525 man-hours spent
annually to physically record 10,500 battery resistance and voltage readings
were eliminated. The distinctive accomplishments of Sergeant <LNAME> reflect
credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.
